Terms of use

Made for practice.

These terms describe how you may use HitMarks. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms and Apple’s applicable App Store terms.

Using HitMarks

HitMarks gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own filmmaking practice. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the app except where applicable law permits it.

Your work

You retain ownership of your notes, stills, recordings and creative work. HitMarks does not claim ownership of anything you make using the app.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to the App Store’s payment, refund and account terms. Where offered, Restore purchases can recover an eligible purchase associated with the same Apple Account.

Creative and physical responsibility

Filmmaking guidance is educational, not a guarantee of a particular creative result. You are responsible for your surroundings, equipment, permissions, personal safety and compliance with applicable laws while filming.

Availability

We aim to keep HitMarks reliable, but features may change and uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. Updates may be required for compatibility with future versions of iOS.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HitMarks is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that applicable consumer law gives you.
