Privacy policy
Your practice stays yours.
HitMarks is a local-first filmmaking guide. It works without an account, cloud profile or behavioural tracking.
Information HitMarks stores
Your playbook activity, story sessions, practice notes, camera labels and any stills you choose to add are stored locally on your device.
Information we collect
HitMarks does not ask you to create an account and the developer does not collect your playbook, practice history, notes, photos, location, contacts or advertising identifiers.
The app does not include third-party advertising or behavioural analytics SDKs.
Photos and camera access
If you choose to add a still, iOS may ask for access to your photo library or camera. HitMarks uses that access only for the action you request. Selected images remain part of the app’s local data unless you choose to export them.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. HitMarks receives only the information needed to recognise and restore the purchase on your device. Apple’s handling of purchase information is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.
Export and deletion
If export is available in your version of HitMarks, you decide when and where an export is created. Deleting the app removes its locally stored data from that device, subject to normal iOS device backups you control.
Children’s privacy
HitMarks is a general filmmaking tool and is not directed specifically to children. Because the app does not require an account, the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If the way HitMarks handles data changes, this policy will be updated before the change is released where required.
